Lauren Schenck, MSW, LIMHP

Lauren Schenck graduated in 2019 from University of Nebraska Omaha with a Masters in social work. She is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Provisional Clinical Social Worker with over 9 years of experience in the social work field, working with youth through geriatric populations. She has experience as a social worker in the nursing home/long-term care setting, child and family services, and inpatient psychiatric setting.

Lauren specializes in working with Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses, Trauma/Adjustment, Grief, and Play Therapy. She enjoys working with young children, adolescents, and young adult populations. She is especially passionate about working with clients facing life transitions, providing support during growth and developmental stages.

Her primary method of treatment includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Couples Therapy. In college, she minored in Vocal Performance and still enjoys bringing aspects of art and performance into therapy when appropriate. She is currently accepting new patients.
