Jacqueline Hotz, PLMHP
I am a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed School Counselor with over 16 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. Much of my professional background comes from working in schools, where I supported students and families through academic, emotional, and life challenges. That experience continues to shape how I approach therapy today.
I work with children and adolescents who are navigating emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. I also support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, fertility and postpartum concerns, and other periods of change or stress. My work in fertility and reproductive mental health is informed by both clinical training and personal experience, allowing me to approach this area with added care and sensitivity.
My work is collaborative and practical. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also incorporate sand tray and creative tools when helpful. Therapy with me focuses on building awareness, developing coping skills, and identifying values and patterns that support meaningful change in everyday life.
I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine and steady. I aim to meet clients where they are, move at a pace that feels manageable, and support growth in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I welcome working with individuals who are seeking clarity, support, and a thoughtful approach to mental health care.
