Michelle Powell is an Independently Licensed Mental Health Provider with her License for Alcohol and Drug counseling. She specializes in co-occurring mental health and substance use and has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings in a treatment center for over 7 years. Michelle has 22 years of military experience and enjoys working with the veteran population. She understands the hardships the military member and their families can endure.

Michelle works with individuals with trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression. She believes that your mental health does not define you as a person and will help you navigate your life to attain the goals you want to achieve. She uses CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care as well as person centered approach.
